In Loving Memory of Heather Gray

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Heather. She peacefully departed from this world on 6th June, surrounded by her loved ones at Southland Hospice.

Heather will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and care for those she loved.

Heather was the much-loved wife of Calder. Devoted mother and mother-in-law to Megan and Zak, Cameron and Kiri, Callum and Kate, and Rebekah. Hands-on Nana to Archie, Wilhelmina, Spencer, and the soon-to-be Baby Gray.

The memorial service will be held on 19th June at 2 pm at Ascot Park Hotel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Southland in memory of Heather Gray. No words can ever express what Hospice Southland meant to Heather and our family.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of Heather and bid her farewell.

Our condolences to the whole Gray family. Heather was always a cheerful, helpful, friendly, caring, and giving person. She was great to have as a neighbour, friend, and relly, and full of fun on pipe band trips. Heather, like myself, was great at almost everything she turned her hand to. She will be sadly missed yet fondly remembered

Words just don’t seem enough for my beautiful childhood friend Heather. The fun times growing up in Henderson Street as children and then adults.

For as long as I have known you our friendship and love stayed strong. I will so miss your smile and your wicked sense of humour.

I promise to stay in Calder and your children’s lives, sharing stories and memories.

You’ll forever be in my heart x

Heather, I'm so sad to hear of your passing. I spent many hors choosing fabric for our home. We had lots of laughs, especially watching Calder up the ladder fitting blinds and curtains. So many people love you dearly and will miss you.💟

Heather, We did not know each other that long, but clicked from day one, that beaming smile and mischievous grin. Those few shifts were obviously meant to be. You selflessly gave all your heart to your lovely family, friends and anybody who needed a hand. You are a very special lady.
All our love goes to Calder and Whanau, thinking of you all. Rest Easy Heather, and Thank You.

Heather was a one in a million person, who had no end of energy and love for the many people in her life outside of her precious family. They were so important to her.
We found her to be so helpful, kind and caring towards us in that special calling of hers. Thank you Heather.
To Calder and family, thank you for sharing this special lady who touched so many people in her life.
With love, prayers and sincere sympathy,
Ann, Vince and Nick.

Heather, you always shined so brightly. So bold and witty, you were so compassionate with such a loving heart. The way you cared for people and showed such kindness to those around you will always be remembered. The many times you had us in fits of laughter are memories I will always hold dearly. You had the ability to light up any room you were in with your sense of humour, your laughter, and your cheekiness. The kids and I will miss you, and I will think of you often. You really were one of the good ones Heather, thank you for blessing us with the beautiful memories we will now hold close to our hearts. All of our love xxx
